A MN. Fugitive was Apprehended in Apache Junction AZ
APACHE JUNCTION, AZ - A man accused of assaulting law
enforcement officers in Minnesota was found in Apache Junction on this past Saturday
night.
A bail enforcement agency (U.S. Fugitive Apprehension) that
contracts with government agencies to find and apprehend fugitives throughout
the US. Reported that Scott Thomas Fisher is now in custody after being wanted in
MN since January.
A warrant was obviously issued for his arrest after failing
to appear at a pre-trial hearing connected to multiple charges, including a fourth
degree assault charge, as well as other charges like two counts of obstructing
the legal process by interfering with a police officer, child endangerment, and
a domestic assault charge.
Police said Mr. Fisher was not instantly cooperative when
caught in Arizona but onsite authorities were able to neutralize the situation.
They flew him back to Nicollet County Minnesota where he now sits in Jail.
a U.S. Fugitive Apprehension investigator reported Mr.
Fisher while being transported, allegedly told them that he put two officers in
handcuffs and used their radios to aggravate law enforcement.
He is currently waiting for his day to stand before a Judge.
